Zoho consultant

Zoho, set up the way your company actually works.

Next to design and build work, I help SMEs get Zoho One running: CRM, Books, Desk and the apps around them. Over five years of it, one client on it since 2016, and my own company runs on it.

What I do

Three things, in this order

01

Set up and migrate

From spreadsheets, Teamleader or HubSpot into Zoho CRM and Books, with your pipeline, your invoicing and your VAT rules the way you run them. Clean data in, from day one.

Fixed scope
02

Automate the boring part

Flow, Deluge and the built-in workflows: quotes that follow up on themselves, invoices that leave when a deal closes, tickets that land with the right person.

Fixed scope or days
03

Train and hand over

Your team learns the parts they use, documented in your words. Then I step back, with a few days a month if you want them.

Why Zoho

The right choice for most SMEs

Your data stays in the EU

Zoho runs its own data centres in Amsterdam and Dublin. A Belgian company's customer data never has to leave the EU, which keeps the GDPR conversation short. Certified to ISO 27001, 27017, 27018 and 27701, with a SOC 2 Type 2 report.

Everything an SME needs, one price

Zoho One bundles more than 45 apps, from CRM and invoicing to helpdesk, HR and analytics, for one licence per employee. Start with CRM and Books, add Desk or Projects when you need them: it is already one system.

Open APIs: your data stays yours

Every Zoho app has a full REST API and webhooks. Your data goes in and out whenever you want, to your webshop, your accountant's tools or a BI dashboard, and every automation you build is yours to keep. Not locked in a black box, which is still the norm for a lot of the software Flemish SMEs run on.

AI-ready, through Zoho MCP

MCP is the open standard that lets an AI assistant such as Claude work inside your own systems. Zoho ships its own MCP server, so you can ask "which invoices are overdue?" or "draft a follow-up for every open quote" in plain language, with your permissions and your data where it already is. No developer needed. I run my own books this way.

When a consultant makes sense

When it pays off

  • You are moving out of spreadsheets or another CRM and want the data to arrive clean.
  • Three or more apps have to talk to each other: CRM, invoicing, support, a webshop.
  • The team stopped using the CRM because it fights the way they work.
  • You want it live in weeks, not a quarter of evenings.

When it doesn't

A solo founder with a simple pipeline can set up Zoho CRM in an afternoon. If that is you, do it yourself. Come back when the invoicing has to follow, or when the second person joins.
