Valderas Track — Privacy Policy

Valderas Track ("the app") is a time-tracking app for freelancers, published by Inti Valderas Caro / Valderas. This policy explains how your data is handled.

The short version: your time-tracking data stays in your own iCloud and is never sent to us. The only thing that can ever leave your device is optional, off-by-default, anonymous usage analytics — and only if you turn it on.

Your data stays yours

Valderas Track has no accounts and no login, and we run no server that stores your data. Everything you enter — clients, projects, time entries, mileage, time off, and your business profile — is stored on your device and in your own private iCloud (Apple's CloudKit private database), under your Apple ID, so it can sync between your devices.

This iCloud data lives in your Apple account. The developer has no access to it, cannot see it, and does not receive a copy of it.

Optional, opt-in analytics

To understand which features are useful, the app can send anonymous usage data — but it is off by default and only happens if you explicitly enable it in Settings → Data → "Send anonymous usage data." You can turn it off again anytime; when it's off, nothing is sent.

When you enable it:

Notifications

The app can show a local reminder if a timer runs longer than expected. These notifications are generated on your device and are not sent through any server.

Subscriptions

If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive your payment details. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction.

Your control over your data

Children

Valderas Track is a professional tool and is not directed at children.
