The city of Genk organized De Begenkers in collaboration with other government services and private organizations. This was a competition to encourage young people to do business. De Begenkers approached us through school to draw up a marketing plan with the aim of reaching more young people. A visual identity was already provided so we built upon that.
Our concept was “Your road to success” for this we designed a mascot that came back every time with every form of communication. We have also opted for targeted marketing via social media. Interviews were conducted with local entrepreneurs from the various neighborhoods of Genk. They have told their story and why you should definitely participate in the competition. Thanks to this way of communication and a clear sticky story, the turnout this year has risen by 186%.
